Another John Shinneman classic. The Joiner’s Horse is a solid-compact work-holding shop or work-site companion that is portable and versatile. . It will hold the work piece firmly for hand planing, sawing; chisel work, or routing and sanding. Prepared stock for the project is bored, edged, glued, smoothed and assembled by the student. The Horse disassembles into easy to disassemble and transport pieces. Day One: - plans and layout - boring dog holes - gluing the top to the apron and - gluing the leg pieces. ​ Day Two: - Un-clamp to and clean up the glue joints - round of all edges; drill dog holes in legs - cut foot notches - prepare pre-cut stretcher and assemble horse - assemble vice.
